With more than 20 years experience in the waste management industry, co-founder and president Michael Keough specializes in highly efficient, cost-effective and environmentally sound waste recycling solutions for government agencies, corporations, retail establishments and other businesses and organizations throughout the United States.
In 2003, Michael and his wife Julie founded E-Structors, Inc., in response to the lack of convenient, secure and environmentally responsible disposal options for electronics, computers and sensitive documents. Just three years later, E-Structors was named the sixth fastest-growing private company in the Baltimore area by the Baltimore Business Journal. In September, 2008, Secure Destruction Business magazine listed E-Structors among the top twenty electronics scrap recyclers in the U.S. and Canada.
A graduate of the University of Maryland College Park, Michael is a member of the National Association for Information Destruction, the Chesapeake Chapter of the International Facility Management Association, and a founding member of the Howard County Green Business Council. He was named an “Innovator of the Year” by the Maryland Daily Record in 2004 and included on Baltimore SmartCEO’s “Future50” in 2008.
Michael is also founder, president and CEO of Integrated Waste Analysts, Inc., a solid waste and recycling management company.

As co-founder and CEO of E-Structors, Inc., Julie Keough plays a key role in the company’s development of proprietary, state-of-the-art equipment and processes to safely destroy and recycle computers, electronics and documents.
Prior to founding E-Structors in 2003 with her husband Michael, Julie worked as an electrical engineer. She also served as a channel account manager for Mentor Technologies and a technical services manager for McCabe & Associates, a leading application lifecycle management company. She holds a master’s degree in business administration from Loyola College and a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from the University of Maryland College Park.
